I am earnestly looking over TN, MS and AL censuses from 1850 and on for his family. His father b. MS, mother b. AL. Daniel Foster Mitchell, at age 53, lived in Madison Co, TN in 1900. He married Lucy Butler b. TN. Have children living in W TN area, but nothing before 1900. Anyone have this Daniel Mitchell or wife Lucy Matilda Butler in your line?
