He married Ellen Canzada PATTEN. born Mar 6, 1862 in Missouri, married abt 1880. Both died in Ventura, Ca, he in 1945 and she in 1942 . Ellen's father was Patten and mother Howell. Children: Walter A Mitchell b.1887 in Texas Lula Mitchell b.1891 in Oklahoma m. Cyrus Paul Northrop m. 1917 in Silverton Co. Ula Mitchell b. ? d. 1953 Location ? m.
