Sam Thank you for the reply. The Indiana counties have been my problem. James was born 1850 in Indiana, so I've been searching the 1860 census town by town, only covered 4 counties with no luck so far. James married Mary Coleman December 25, 1879 in Elkhart County, have the marriage cert. The 1900 census has James and his Father and Mother born in Indiana.
