Gloria-- I have an Elijah Mitchell born in TN ca. 1831. He came to AR ca. 1850, married Mary Jane Dickerson there in 1852 and lived there the rest of his life. He did not have a son Elijah, but his brother James and he seemed to name their children after each other's families. James had a son Elijah, listed in the 1860 census as being 3 years old. James' wife's name was Nancy. Do you know any of your Eligha's siblings? James and Nancy had several children. I know some of Elijah's descendants went to OK. Barbra
