Thanks Jennifer. Our problem is that we know where our Old William Mitchell was born (from Revolutionary War pension application) and where he died (from his will in Madison County, Missouri). What we don't know are the names of his parents or his wife. We believe he was married in Virginia as the first 2-3 children were born there and we think the wife died in Grainger County, Tennessee where the family settled after leaving Virginia. Unfortunately we haven't found any records yet to provide names for these individuals. Thank you for your suggestions. Conni Mitchell Braun
