Hi Everyone Can't seem to get any where with my Grandfather let alone GreatGrandfather. Grandfather Jesse Mitchell was born Ninfield Sussex England around 1889 and named female on birth certificate. GGrandfather Jesse Mitchell(Farmer) married Emily nee Hopper. Wandering if they had any other son's? Anyone out there heard of Jesse Mitchell England? Appreciate any help. Fran

Fran, How did you find your Mitchell's in Sussex, England? I know my Jacob (Job) Mitchell (bn. abt 1794) and wife Rhoda (bn. abt 1795) and their daughter Ann (bn October 25, 1822 were all born in Sussex, England but I don't know how to verify this. Do you know someone that does research there? I think they came to the states when Ann was 12 which would have made it about 1834. Any leads on how to proceed would be appreciated. Hi Everyone Am trying to find out who the parents are of an ELIZABETH MITCHELL who married 1 Nov. 1795 at St Mary's Portsea, Hampshire to RICHARD FREEMANTLE of London. They had the following children Richard, Samuel and John. Elizabeth died abt 1814 Is there anyone out there who perhaps has this family in their tree.
