Some of my Mitchells ended up in Tarrant and Lee Co., TX. Namely Dr. Warren Wesley Mitchell who was a surgeon during the civil war. He married Sarah (Sallie) Johnson in Lee Co. After the end of the war, he ended his medical practice and later moved to Fulton Co., AR., but I believe he was in TX about 20 years.
