Jerald As far as I know my James Mitchell was born in Ark. The reason I say 1869 is because he married in 1890 and his age is listed as 21. I'll keep your e-mail and if I ever find a connection, I'll let you know. The 1900 Census says his parents were born in Al. There is a John on the same page, so I am only assuming it might be a brother especially since ther is a Haskins living with John and James married Ida Haskins. Who knows?
