Levi Mitchell [son of Dempsey Mitchell] in January 1861 in Sevier Co.,AR. In 1870 they were living in Franklin Co., AR. with 3 sons. One more son was born, then Levi apparently died sometime after the mid-1870s. Searching for a later marriage for Jane Self Mitchell. 2. Robert B. Mitchell m. Tabitha Ann [Bitha] Self on 20 January 1889 in Polk Co., AR. Bitha died in October 1895, leaving 4 children. In July 1897, R. B. Mitchell m. Miss Nannie Ward in Polk Co., AR. At the October term of 1904 of Polk County Probate Court, a J. H. Mitchell [believed to be a brother] was named administrator of the estate of R. B. Mitchell. Final settlement was reached in October 1905. In July 1905, Bitha's brother, I. E. Self, was named Guardian and Curator of the minor heirs of Robt. and Tabitha Mitchell. His purpose was to sell real estate for the benefit of the children, whose names were Lula Bell, Kittie, Robert, and Ode Mitchell. She was daughter of Thomas Harvey Harris and Louisa Davidson Brooks. Dick and Rebecca later moved to Polk Co., AR with her parents. Rebecca was a sister of my great grandfather George Luton Harris.
