millie, my mitchells came to georgia in the late 1790s from s.c. my ggggreat grandfather was henry mitchell that married sarah maderias , he was born abt 1740. he also had sons henry jr, drury, nathaniel, mathew, ransom, sterling, robert(ricey) maderias john, joshua and one known daughter susanna . the family originally came from virginia. wallace
