You can try it but it may not solve the problem. I got to the point of being sick of the "unsubscribed" emails that I completely left hotmail altogether. I've subscribed to many of the lists from rootsweb and have had no problem until recently. And then it only happened on just one of the lists and left the other ones alone. I had entered the list address in my address book and on my safe list but for some reason it would NEVER put the mails in my inbox and would keep forwarding them all to my junk folder. In my case, my solution was cured by purchasing my own domain name and having it hosted on a different server. In know that isn't an option for everyone but that was my choice. (All the @#$% porno adds were getting me pretty steamed. And I don't mean in their favor either.) Just my 2 cents worth on my experience.
