After Celia's death, Stephen Mitchell perhaps married (2) Mourning/Marinay G. F. Howard. A Stephen Mitchell was in Wilkes County, GA in 1783; in Richmond County, GA in 1790; in Warren County, GA in 1797; in Liberty County, GA in 1801; in Pulaski County, GA in 1805 ; and, in Montgomery County, AL in 1818.
