John I seek's father was born in NC. My John married in TN Haywood County. Thanks Sandi Mitchell >> Aenita and Sandi-- My John Mitchell was born in AR, but his father, Elijah/Elisha was born in TN, county unknown. He married Mary Jane Dickerson, also of TN. Elijah's brother, James, married Nancy ? in TN, and both families removed to Franklin Co., AR. James was a blacksmith. The names John, Elijah, James, Mary, Nancy, and William, were used as children's names in both families. Are any of them familiar to you? Would surely love to find the parents' names and the county which they were from. Thanks. Barbra
