I have my Mitchell line living in Sumner Co., TN around 1800- abt. 1830's. The family I have was born in Guilford Co., NC. HOping to find someone with Mitchells from this same town. Henrietta MITCHELL b. Guilford Co., NC m. George Whitfield HOLLOWAY b. 1770 in Halifax Co., VA I have that these two were married on 3-17-1800 in Halifax Co, VA. By 1809 they had 3 children born in Sumner Co., TN Henry M. Holloway b. 1-18-1809 Elizabeth J. Holloway b. 9-5-1818 Mitchell Holloway b. in Sumner Co., TN I am not sure where Henrietta or George died. Henrietta's father is listed as : Henry MITCHELL born ? died 1819 in Sumner Co., TN his spouse is Unknown but was supposidly married in Guilford Co., NC his children are: Henrietta Living John MITCHELL b. in Halifax Co., VA Henry's father is Charles MITCHELL b. ? died in 1783 Halifax Co., VA spouse unknown. one child Charles. I guess you can say my MITCHELLS could be found in Halifax Co., VA around the middle to late 1700's , NC the late to early 1800's and in Sumner Co., TN from the early to middle 1800's. From there I have Henrietta and Georges daughter Elizabeth Holloway marrying John S. Dearing in 1837 in Sumner Co., TN. Their children were born in Allen Co., KY and Thkompsonville, Franklin Co., IL where Elizabeth died. Any help on this family line would be a great help. Thanks, Kimberly
