DAvid, by chance is your Thomas Mitchell the one who was in Barren County, KY,. 1810 census? I am trying to find the Mitchell connection I am sure exists with my Garrisons! How about a daughter Louisa who would have been born about 1785-90 and married Edmund Garrison? Or earlier one who married Paul Garrison? Mitchell is a given name in my family right along and I think that we must have a marriage into a Mitchell family. I ask about Thomas because my Garrisons were in Barren Co., Ky 1810 also...Going from Delaware to Maryland, to Virginia to NC to SC, and then to Barren Co. and Edmund's son Buckner named a son Thomas.
