Wouldn't it be nice if FTM had a way of pulling out by where people were born or died? I know many times that I could have helped people if I could pull out Mitchell's in that way or someone could have helped me. It just takes too long to look through all the Mitchell's. I am going to try something one time, and if the others on the list do not approve, please let me know and I will not do it again. It is that every time I come across a group of Mitchells that were in a certain area, to make a list for the Mitchell list. It just seems we could all help each other more by doing this. Mitchell's married into both the Dyer and Dibrell families. This is what I mean: Boone/Carroll Co. AR Joel Dyer Mitchell, b.1802/03, Rutherford Co., TN d. 1872, Boone Co.,AR with some children born in Boone Co., and some in Carroll Co. His children were Angeline, William C.(had child, Edward D.), Caroline T., Emaline, John Lee, Anthony Dibrell, Edward, Obediah Patteson D.(had children Elizabeth E., William Edward, Peterson J., A.M., May Pearl and Edward D.), Joel D., Calvin A. and Edna Angie. Joel Dyer Mitchell's brother, William Christmas Mitchell b. 1807, m. Nancy Isabella Dunlap b. 1811in Carroll Co., AR, but I am not positive they lived in that county as his brother did. Some of this family are among those slaughtered at Mountain Meadows, UT. Children: Charles Roark (child John), Charles, wife & child d. UT Joel "Joe" Dyer, b. MO d.
