Thank you for your reply. My Grandfather was Lawrence Mitchell. He had 3 sister, Lena, Mertye, and Belle. They all lived in the mid-Michigan area. I really would like to find out more about my Grandfather's family but hardly know how to begin since I have so little information. My grandfather was a blacksmith. and lived at Edgewood which is 9 miles east of Ithace Michigan. If any of this fits with the info you have on the Mitchells I would be most happy to hear from you again. Maybe we can put this together. I have been researching the Aumaugher's and am almost finished , or as finished as you can be. I will be going to the court house again this week or next and will start looking for the Mitchells in this area.
