He married Sarah Van Buskirk in Hoboken, NJ and she gave birth to a daughter Sarah in 1815. Daughter Sarah married Junius Hatch, a prominent Buffalo, NY politician and land owner, in 1833 and died in Buffalo, NY 16 Nov. 1851. He died 20 April 1869 in Buffalo. My William Thomas MITCHELL b. 1813, somehow made his way from NY to Montgomery, AL, and then to Savannah where he began a family and died in the 1854 epidemic. My MITCHELL line goes back as follows: William Thomas (b. abt 1813 - NY or Eng according to census info.) His line may be Thomas Wm> William> Richard> Richard > Richard. I say *may*, because the info comes from a 1972 published work on another branch of my family, *Robert Burrows and Descendants, 1630 - 1974*, Compiler and Publisher - R. Earl Burrows, Cleveland, Ohio 44107, 1975, Edwards Brothers, Inc., Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is a large two-volumn work. The author is no longer available and I don't know where he got the info.
