I'm hoping someone can provide some of the details I am missing or correct the ones I have. I cannot seem to locate any more information on John Henry Mitchell son of John Henry Mitchell and _____?_____ born about 1760/1765 in Petersburg, Dinwiddie County, Virginia and died about 1806 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. I don't have a spouse, but they had at least one son. Thomas H. Mitchell born 1793 in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. and died May 29, 1853 in Walton County, Georgia. He married Ruth Tillery on Sept 18, 1814. I have searched through alot of records pertaining to Virginia and Dinwiddie county. Was Dinwiddie County part of another county at one time? called something else during this time? I have quite a bit of information on Ruth Tillery's family that I'd be happy to share or trade for information on the Mitchell family. Thank you, Kerstin Erickson
