Dear Listers, I am looking for the parents or siblings of Martin Louis Mitchell born July 27, 1851 where? I am not sure. He was married to Margaret Jane Hildebrand born Nov. 19, 1851 in Union County, Arkansas about 1872 where? I am not sure. There children were Thomas T. Mitchell born 1875 in Union Co, AR; Louie W. Mitchell born 1878 in Union Co, AR; Lula M. Mitchell born 1883 in Union Co.AR. She was my paternal grandmother. Her father Martin L. Mitchell & Margaret J. Hildebrand divorced after Lula's death in 1909 where? Iam not sure. Martin L. Mitchell remarried to Mrs. Hattie Golliday born about 1880. They married in Hempstead Co, AR November 23, 1918. Family members state that they lived in the next county Nevada County, AR. Martin & Hattie Mitchell had one son born about 1920 in Nevada County, AR. I can find no land records there. Did John Mitchell have descendants? Matin Louis Mitchell died about 1940 in Nevada Co, AR My father's Uncle attended the funeral. He was not sure of the cemetary name. I have not found a record such as obit or tombstone. Can anyone help?
