Mary Jean, Hi, this sounds very much like the line of Henry Mitchell Sr. who migrated from Prince George County, VA. to Henry county, GA. and surrounding areas. There are two people on this list who claim to be descended from him, I believe one is David Mitchell, and the other might be Wallace Mitchell. I am not positive.These people might be able to help you figure all of this out. These Mitchells were from Scotland and then went to Ireland before going to America. There was an Aquilla Mitchell in Fayette county, GA. I think this Aquilla Mitchell may have been from Cecil Co., Maryland which is adjacent to Chester Co., PA. There are alot of Mitchells from Chester Co. PA. Doris
