I hope someone can help me confirm that 2 Mitchell brothers left NC in the 1800's (after the death of there father in 1833) and later show up in Greens Fork-Randolph-Indiana on the 1880 census. I have a will dated 1833 for George Mitchell Jr., Wayne County NC, in it it list 7 young children: Henry, Lovet, Stephen, Curtis, Needham, Warren, Gilbert. The children are left orphaned, and the will states the adm. is to find homes for the children. I am following a lead that maybe Warren and Lovet somehow found there way to Indiana. Is anyone looking for one of these Mitchell's?
