John D. is the one I'm seeking parents of. He was born in MS but don't believe the family was there long. His father was born in NC. John Daniel Mitchell born MS, Jan 15, 1840 - married Eunice Elizabeth (Unice, Unis, Units) Hodges b. TN, Dec 14, 1840, daughter of Douglas F.
