I haven't pursued my MITCHELL line for some time and thought perhaps some of you seasoned researchers might have some answers for me. My 4g gf John MITCHELL was married to Elizabeth GILLUM of Goochland Co VA. They supposedly had 15 children but I only know of 4 Orlinda William Benjamin John Jr His second wife was Sarah PATTERSON with whom he was living when he died 1852 in Fauquier Co. I have his will and probate records and only those 4 children were identified. Orlinda, my 3g gm married John EDDENS and moved to MO. William and John Jr were still living in Fauquier Co in 1880. I have significant data on Orlinda but what I'm hopeful of finding is some death records for William, Benjamin and/or John Jr that might shed some light on their father John - where he came from (the 1850 census sez MD) and any leads to his family. If someone has some help or leads for me I'd appreciate hearing from you. Regards - George
