I'm going to do a bit of any end-run here and see if maybe I can get some kind of lead on my 4g gm Elizabeth GILLIAM. She was married to John MITCHELL sometime in the late 1700's. I descend thru their daughter Orlinda whom I have much data on. John died in Fauquier Co in 1852. Besides Orlinda, his will identifies 3 sons - John Jr, Benjamin and William - all born about 1800-1805. I'm hopeful that someone will know something about any of these children that may shed some light on their mother Elizabeth. The only real evidence of have of her is her identification on a DAR application by her granddaughter. That application also stated John/Elizabeth had 15 children but I have never found more than the four I've named. At the time of his death John was married to his second wife Sarah PATTERSON. If anyone can help me with a lead here I would be more than grateful. George
