You may be able to get a death cert. and/or Social Security application on your grandfather, that should list his parents. Doris
Social Security Application information would be good source but since the death certificate information is provided by another person there could be wrong information listed. This is the case with my 2nd great grandfather. His youngest son was the informant and listed his birthplace as Colmar, France when it was really Schwyz, Switzerland. So take caution when listing that information as fact.
