Wish to obtain information on Alva Mitchell's children. Alva is the son of Edmund (Edgar)Harper Mitchell and Maragret Sarah Belew of Texas. Alva b. 30 Jan 1870, Campbell, Hunt Co, TX. Alva's wife was Ellen Howard b. 27 Dec 1894 d, 27 Oct 1953. Alva was a professor of mechanical drawing at Texas A&M from 1912 to 1940. Had three sons, one of whom was named Wendell C. Have initials for the other two from an obit -- R.H. Mitchell and W. H. Mitchell Also looking of burial location for Luta D. Mitchell Mings, daughter of  Edmund Harper Mitchell and Margaret Sarah Belew.  Luta b. 15 Jan 1879 m. John Ambrose Mings 19 May 1903 and died 18 May 1971.   She lived most of later years in Big Sandy, Upshur County, Texas.   Also interested on information for her husband John Ambrose Mings.  --  Ron Mitchell, Sterling, Virginia
