Connie, And all of the other Grainger County Mitchell researchers. Does anyone have any Mitchell's that was in Greene County, Tennessee, in the same time frame, 1850 and up. My gg grandfather James Mitchell,( of course,) was in Greene County at this time and had sons with the names that match with just about everyone else. Thomas, William, George, David, Calvin and the oldest, Larkin Mitchell. I think my James Mitchell's father was Thomas Mitchell, but cannot find the anything that will prove it. The older generation of my Mitchell's were born and died and are buried in Greene County. I have taken the DNA test in hopes that it would link me up with someone, and if I remember, correctly, I had a 9/12 match with Doris, which was a match to far back to make a connection. So, to anyone who has any of their Mitchell ancestors in Greene County, Tennessee, I need help. Tony
