    3. Hi Conni A lot of people would not pay $100 but might pay $10 or $20 towards someone in the family (male) being tested - offer it as your christmas/birthday gift from them. And ask females as well as males to participate with this fund raising. The more donors the less the individual needs to pay. Make a list. Offer them a copy of the Pedigree.     3. My family just won't participate in the DNA study. I've asked and they just aren't interested. My father would have done it but he died in 1991. His brother is the only Mitchell uncle and he won't do it nor will my 4 newly discovered cousins. Too bad they can't test some of the women. Fortunately for us we can at least trace the family back to 1764. Unfortunately we can't find the records to go back further or know the names of his parents or even his wife.
