Hi Judith, Do you have a George earlier than that in this line? I was told my ggg-grandfather William [of course] Mitchell b. 1797, father's name was George. This is the first time I have seen the name George mentioned with Mitchell. Dee I don't have any Georges that go back that far. I have 13 William's and 2 Willies in my data base; one of these is Wm 'Lovely or Lively' Mitchell, B: 1797; his parents, however, are shown to be Thomas & Nancy (Dyer) Mitchell.
