Alton, I don't know the parents of the James D. Mitchell who married Narcissa Mynatt but I know they were married in Grainger Co. on 21 Sep 1836 with Green B. Mitchell, JP performing the ceremony and with John Mitchell as bondsman. It seems likely that he fits somewhere in Doris' line but I don't know where. Gail Mynatt Zeigler

I would love to know if this was one of my Green B. Mitchell's. I believe the younger was a JP and my 3rd great grandfather!
