Sophia Mitchell (d/o Samuel Mitchell s/o Joab Mitchell) married Jesse Tiner in 1834 - Green Co., MO. She was 1/4 Choctaw b. AL or MS? She definitely was away from her family, but later was in the 1855 Choctaw Census with the Indians again. Perhaps she was visiting relatives?????? Was anyone's ancestors there in that period that might fit into this family. I know her aunts and uncles, but do not know where they lived. Marlene
