I am Looking for information (a will, census records, probate records, ect.) that will help document the ancestors, siblings, or descendants of my ggg-grandparents Thomas B. Mitchell and Eliza Louisa unknown. Thomas B. Mitchell was born in SC in 1815. I assume he married Eliza Louisa unknown in South Carolina sometime ca.1842, + or - a year or two. He was listed on the 1850 census in Murray co. GA as Thomas Mitchel. He is listed in the 1860 census in Whitfield co. GA as Thos B Mitchell. He is listed in the 1870 census in Whitfield co. GA as Thomas Mitchel. He died in Whitfield county Georgia in 1879. Eliza Louisa unknown was born in SC in 1823. It is possible that she was part Cherokee. She was listed in the previously mentioned census records. In 1880, she is listed in Whitfield co. GA as the head of household. I have not yet located her in the 1900 census. She died in 1904. Mitchell Jr....born ca.1849 in TN ~ death unknown, married Cathy unknown, Worked for RR in 1880 Children: Cathy 1875-, Viola 1877-, and William 1879-, 4. W??? .........................born ca.1851 5. Sarah E.......................born ca.1856 6. Josephine ...................born ca.1858 7. George W. ..................born ca.1858 Notable Mistakes: The 1860 census lists Sarah and W?? as Twins, however it is obvious George and Josephine were the twins.
