Mitchell, born 1850 somewhere in Indiana? He married Mary A. Coleman December 25, 1878, before moving to Michigan, Mary was born in Ohio. 1880 James and Mary were living in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Kalamazoo County, where they had their first born, William E. and James was a Blacksmith. About 1881 they moved to ?, Ohio and about 1883 they moved to Boyne Falls, Michigan, Charlivoix County, where James had his own blacksmith shop. If anyone thinks they may have information on James D.
