I am looking for information on William Thomas Mitchell Sr. I believe he was born about 1827 in possibly Ireland. He married Martha Jane Williams about 1847 possibly in New Columbia, Massac Co., Illinois. I know of possibly 4 children that they had: William Thomas Mitchell Jr (my ggreat grandfather, b. 12/28/1848 in New Columbia, Massac Co., Illinois; m. Nancy Francena Jones - Dec. 1869; d. 3/27/1883 in Johnson Co., Illinois), Wesley Mitchell (b. abt 1850 in possibly Union Co., Illinois), Rebecca T. Mitchell (b. abt 1852 in Union Co., Illinois; m. William Henry Johnson abt 1875; d. 2/14/1887 in Johnson Co., Illinois), and Sarah Mitchell (b. abt 1854 in Union Co., Illinois). Any information would be greatly appreciated.
