Yvonne I am sorry but that is all that was told in the ledger about him. Apparently he was just passing through and needed some help. Could be that he had just arrived and wasnt able to establish himself yet. Probably stayed there....earned some money and went on. He should be on the 1880 census if still alive. cheers
