G'day Gerri I would be interested to hear of your Mitchells - I have so many Mitchells that I think I could run a 'one name group' but I am only interest in those Mitchells of London and the Home Counties. My mother Annie Elizabeth Mitchell was born 1901 in Bethnal Green, east end of London. I have this line back to very early 1800's. Happy to share.
