My thanks to all of you who were good enough to reply to my question. I have made a note of those who have ancestors in England in case they should connect with mine at a later date....you never know! My Mitchells come from London.....which was Surrey at that time........My Great Grandfather was named...dare I say it?...William! Grandfather was Isaac Mitchell who married Lizzie Page....His Mother was Brenda Page..the plot thickens... I'm not aware of any ancestors coming over here, but I know I do have a cousin whom I have never met, whose maiden name I believe, was Yvonne Mitchell.She went to the New York area I think in the late forties early fifties If my information is correct... . If I can help anyone with their search in England just let me know. I find and discard so many Mitchells. Yvonne in Oregon
