Just received a clue which may indicate my ancestor Elijah/Elisha Mitchell and his brother James were from Perry Co., TN. Can anyone provide any info about Mitchells in this county? Thanks. Barbra

I have run across the name Elijah Mitchell several times. There is one in my family but to the best of my knowledge he settled in Grainger County, TN. I am not certain where Perry County, TN is located in relationship to Grainger County.
