Mitchell b. 31 Jul 1802 Amelia Co. VA; d. 27 Sep 1866 Griffin, Spaulding Co. GA; g-mother: Mahallah Burdett b. 1805 Edgefield, Edgefiled Co, SC Alva's gg-parents James C. Mitchell and Mary Ann (Polly) Craddock both of VA & Henry Burdett and Nancy Clark, both of Laurens Co, SC Alva's was the oldest child of Edgar and Margaret. Younger siblings were: Robert Emmet Mitchell (my g-father), Otis, Luta Mings, and Edgar. My interest is largely in finding info on Alva's children & any grand children. --Ron
