Dear Robert, This may be a long shot, but as I am at my wit's end with the Mitchells, I thought that I would give it a try. Do you know the name of William Mitchell's parents? My grandfather Mortimer David was born in Rochester, NY 1862-3. His parents were David and Anora (Neunan) Mitchell. I don't know if Mortimer (he didn't use the name) had any siblings so William could possibly be.
