The dates of the earlier children would be about right, but not if the younger Pleasant was born in TN. My Pleasant was in Granville Co. NC in the 1820 census, but not after that. I assumed he died. But, some of my Mitchell's did end up in Weakley County, Henderson Co., Carroll Co. in TN. The Mitchell's you have are probably related. I still have Charles Mitchell and Evans Mitchell, jr. who are unaccounted for. If you find anything else out, please keep me in mind. Thanks. Pleasant White born 1798 in Washington VA son of Woodson Phillip White and Nancy Love Mitchell. I have found the name Pleasant as a name given many who come from Virginia. While I am not directly related, I understand that there was a large family of Pleasants in Virginia. Many times names of friends became names for children especially when there were many births. Pleasant White in my family was the 8th of 9 children.
