I have found notes from a Mrs. Eckhardt of Houston, Texas written in the 1960's about her Mitchell family from Sumner Co Tennessee in which she believes she is somehow related to your Pleasant Mitchell. She is descended from an Elizabeth Mitchell who married a Hunt. Elizabeth had a brother named Pleasant. They were said to have been born in Virginia. Sumner Co. is the county to the north or Davidson.
