Hi Conni, Thank you for sharing the stories with us regarding your great uncle, Harvey Mitchell - I have a question if I may? Do you know your Gr uncle's birthdate? Within my branch of Mitchell, my great grandmother had a youngest brother named Harvey Lewis Mitchell - My great grandmother was the oldest, born 1875 Clayton County, GA as were the other children - But I have nothing on Harvey as fara as a family, with the exception of his photo's - I do know that certain Mitchell's within my line, went to Rusk Co, TX and further west - Thanks! Sorry they aren't the same Harvey Mitchell. My uncle was Harvey Raymond Mitchell and fortunately he is one I can easily track. He basically lived in Abilene, Kansas and Independence, Missouri with the exception of a year or so in Montana when he was a child and possibly a short stay in Portland or Seattle.
