    3. I also am very interested in the discussion concerning the Mitchells of Wilkes County, NC. My ancestor, William Riley Mitchell (7MAR1807-29APR1873) came from Hunting Creek, Wilkes Co., NC. In my limited research the only Mitchells I found from around the Hunting Creek area are William, Sr.; William, Jr.; in Wilkes County and Moses who lived on Hunting Creek in Iredell County which abuts Wilkes County on the south. No one asked for my opinion, BUT---The most important step in genealogy is the recording of your sources. I can not emphasize enough the importance of recording the sources. I am very interested in corresponding with anyone concerning the MITCHELLs of Wilkes County who can and will also supply their sources. Thanks, Virginia Mitchell vmitch@upperspace.net
