He was born Dec. 17, 1923, in Jackson, Mich., a son of Ray and Elva ECKER. He was in the service for 26 years, serving during World War II, in the Korean Conflict and two tours in Vietnam. Surviving are his wife, Kate, Huachuca City; two daughters, Connie BATTEN, Sturgis, and Jody EVANS, Clark Air Base, Philippines; and one brother, Frank ECKER, Sturgis. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sons, Rollie. Cremation has taken place. Burial was in the Fort Huachuca Air Base Cemetery.
