EASH, 41, of R.R. 2, Topeka died Friday, July 28, 1989, in the LaGrange Hospital following an illness of one year. He was born in LaGrange County June 30, 1948, and was a lifetime resident of LaGrange County. Formerly a farmer, he had been working part-time for King Animal Care Clinic in Shipshewana. He was a member of the Amish church. He was married May 1, 1969, to Suzie KURTZ, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Abbi? (MILLER) EASH of Topeka; four daughters, Lou Ellen, Marlene, Lorene and Irma Sue, all at home; two sons, Merlin Ray and LaVern, at home; four sisters, Mary and Clara EASH of Topeka, Mrs. Joe (Katie) MULLET of Hicksville, Ohio and Mrs. Clarence (Verna) MILLER of Topeka, and three brothers, Wilbur, John and Melvin of Topeka. Funeral services were held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Elmer Yoder home with Bishop LaVern Lambright and the Rev. Sam Mast Jr. officiating. Burial was in the Hawpatch Cemetery near Topeka. The Miller Funeral Home of Middlebury was in charge of the arrangements. END
