ELY, died at 8:10 a.m. Saturday in Sturgis Memorial Hospital, where she had been admitted 18 days ago. She became ill one year ago. Mrs. ELY was born in Sturgis, Aug. 10, 1897, a daughter of Chris and Mary (WARKENTINE) McKALE. She was married to Mr. ELY in Burr Oak On Nov. 4, 1908. He preceded her in death Jan. 13, 1969. The couple had resided on their farm on Middle Colon Road for many years. Mrs. ELY had made her last home with her daughter, Mrs. Norris (Ella) HOLLISTER, in Bronson. Mrs. ELY was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Burr Oak and the Ladies Aid, also of St. John’s Church. Surviving besides her daughter are three sisters, Mrs. Andrew (Hilda) MEYERS of Three ****No other information on the index card***** END
