ECKHART, 66, 402 N. Canal St., died Dec. 27, 1991, at LaGrange Hospital. He was born June 10, 1925, in Helmer, Ind., a son of the late Lloyd and Mabel (CHAMBERLIN) ECKHART. On Dec. 15, 1962, he married Winnifred HAMPTON in LaGrange. She died March 24, 1984. He retired from United Telephone Co., after 27 years of service. Surviving is one sister, Roberta FRICK, Rome City, Ind. Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Carldean Merrifield will officiate. Burial will be at Fairfield Cemetery, northeast of Corunna, Ind. Memorials may be directed to the LaGrange County Cancer Society. Envelopes may be directed to the LaGrange County Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. END
