Fish Lake, Rd., Sturgis, died Feb. 2, 1979, in her residence. She had been in failing health five months. Mrs. EATON was born in Bronson March 5, 1904, a daughter of Edwin and Meda (MILLER) HARRIS, and had been an area resident all her life. She was married to Harl W. EATON, Feb. 15, 1922, in Sturgis. Mrs. EATON was employed at Wilhelm Company before her marriage. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Colon Church of God and Unit 34, Mothers of World War II. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Rachel) BURT, Battle Creek, and Mrs. Edward (Sarah) HAHN, Sturgis; six sons; Robert EATON, Otsego; Harlie EATON, Chicago, Ill.; Carl EATON, Sturgis; Wayne EATON, Gainesville, Texas; Harry EATON, Sturgis and Elmer EATON, Three Rivers; 31 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Keitha LAMB, Colon, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ferrell Elizabeth EATON, and a brother, LaRue HARRIS. Friends may call at the Foglesong Funeral Home in Sturgis, beginning Saturday noon. Services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Leonard Steininger, pastor of the Colon Church of God, officiating. Burial will take place in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Colon Church of God. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. END
